How Verification Works
Credibility is key. Here's our process for ensuring the data you see is legit.
Stripe Read-Only Access (Preferred): This is the gold standard. By connecting your Stripe account with read-only permissions, we can automatically and securely fetch your revenue data. We never see your customers' personal information, and we cannot perform any actions on your account.
Manual Verification: For platforms other than Stripe, we accept a signed JSON object or a screen recording of your revenue dashboard. This is reviewed manually by our team. This method requires a signed attestation confirming the data's accuracy.
Your profile is marked as 'Verified' if your data has been successfully refreshed within the last 30 days.
After 30 days without a data refresh, your badge changes to 'Stale'. This indicates the data may no longer be current. Re-verify to update your status.
Automatic Nightly Refresh: For accounts connected via Stripe, we attempt to refresh your data every night to keep your profile up-to-date automatically.
Manual Refresh: You can also trigger a manual 'Refresh now' on your profile page. This is rate-limited to prevent abuse.
